Special Education Substitute Teacher - Rio Grande Valley, TX

We are currently hiring for special education substitute teachers for the 2026-27 school year, and you can start the interview process right away!

You’ll earn:

• Up to $145/day paid weekly
• Up to $117 per day for High School/GED, 48+ college credits, and Associate’s degree substitute teachers
• Up to $145 per day for Bachelor’s and Master’s/Professional (MBA, JD, M. Ed, etc) degree substitute teachers
• Paid via W-2, meaning no year-end tax headaches

You’re a great fit if you:

• Have at least 1 year working with kids in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
  • Supporting students in a special education setting is preferred
• Completed 48+ college credit hours
• Feel confident managing a classroom of students
• Are willing to step in where needed - this could include lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season
• Pass state & federal background checks (costs reimbursed after 10 assignments)
• Believe every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world
